A Focus for the New Year
We spend a majority of our weeks, months, and years at the workplace, yet many often navigate their professional pursuits without fully understanding or engaging how their faith can and should be lived out on a daily basis. Leavened Lives provides an opportunity for people to receive individual coaching, which is the type of intensive engagement that I believe is the most valuable to truly overcome the compartmentalization of work and faith.

My goal over the next 12 months is to bring on 20 additional clients for personal, intensive discipleship and coaching. I am expanding my own ability to disciple others through a two year spiritual director training program.
In addition, I want to help some churches develop Faith and Work ministries so that people are not engaging this crucial area of discipleship solely in parachurch settings.
Fostering Commitment
For those of you who do not have a full picture of Leavened Lives, I'd encourage you to check out my website. I do not want to have any kind of financial barrier that would keep people from engaging with this ministry. But I'm also discovering that people may be more likely to invest time and energy where they have invested money. That is why I want Leavened Lives to provide scholarships to those who are able to give the time and energy but lack the financial resources. Your support will also cover these scholarship opportunities.
Joining in Prayer
One of the challenges of this ministry is convincing people to pay attention to how their faith can and should be lived out in their work. This is not just about working for the glory of God, but experiencing God and relying on God in all aspects of work. There is great potential in this movement, but it is going to take some significant shifts for this potential to be realized. I am committed to pursuing and fostering those shifts.
I would ask you to pray for me and for the individuals participating in this program. This is a field that is ripe for harvest!
