1. Go to the Sign-Up Page

• Desktop: Go to reddit.com and click Sign Up in the top-right corner.
• Mobile App: Download Reddit from the App Store or Google Play Store, open it, and tap Sign Up / Log In.

2. Choose How to Sign Up

• Quick Sign-Up: Select Continue with Google or Continue with Apple to link an existing account.
• Email Sign-Up: Type in your preferred email address and click Continue.

3. Set Up Username & Password (if using email)

• Username: Pick a unique handle. Note: You cannot change your username after creating the account.
• Password: Set a secure password.

4. To Skip Topics & Interests

Reddit will prompt you to select topics of interest to build your home feed. You can safely click Skip (or continue past it) without choosing anything.

5. To Turn Off Promotional & Digest Emails

• On Desktop: Click your Profile Avatar (top-right) → Settings → Notifications → Email settings. Toggle off Unsubscribe from all emails or turn off specific digest/promotional updates.
• On Mobile App: Tap your Profile Avatar (top-right) → Settings → tap your Username under Account Settings → Manage emails, and toggle off non-essential notifications.
